Worship Ministry

Join us for Worship!

Weekly Sunday Service

9:30 a.m.

The Holy Eucharist is offered three times a month.

Click here to find out what a typical Episcopal Service is like.

All are welcome to participate in the Holy  Communion. At the time of the communion, please come forward and kneel or stand at the altar rail. If you are unable to come forward, let the usher know and the bread and wine will be brought to you at your seat. If you do not want to receive the bread or the wine, you may come to the  altar rail for a blessing. As you kneel or stand at the altar rail, cross your arms over your chest.

Childcare is available during Worship at Marsh Cottage. During the academic year, Sunday School is offered to children preschool through 6th grade. Children meet at Marsh Cottage, joining the congregation later in the Sanctuary for Holy Communion. Feel free to ask the ushers for assistance with Childcare or Sunday School participation.

Weekly Morning Prayer

Every Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

Also known as matins, this is the first of the two Daily Offices. Morning Prayer consists of Opening Sentences, an optional Confession and Absolution, recitation of Psalms, readings from Scripture, the Apostles' Creed, Suffrages and Prayers. This is a service without Holy Eucharist.

Healing Services

1st Sunday of each month at 9:30 a.m. during the Worship Service

1st Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.

This service provides prayer, readings from the Bible, and the Laying on of Hands and Anointing. The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of healing in which the priest lays hands in silence upon the sick, prays over them, and anoints them with oil. The sacrament may be celebrated within a community gathering at special times of the year or, as needed, with an individual.

Taize Worship

First Sunday of the Month at 7:00 p.m.

Open to all denominational backgrounds, candlelit Taize services at St. Peter's combine gentle hymns, prayers and meditation in creating a spiritually renewing service. Learn more about Taize.
